curriculm overview?

When people ask about typical grade __ curriculum, I often hear "check the lists at World Book online", or "those What you Nth grader should know" books. However, for me at least it is nice to look at a few different places for their view, especially for high school (although there are articles for every grade). In June 2008, Andrea Hermitt compiled one typical course of study from grades 1-12. I was pleased to find these articles on families.com recently. (Almost every page has one pop-up, do you want coupon ad, but it coems with a "no thanks" button that works.)

Examples (but every grade is there!):

(World Book 5th grade) just for comparison
