Boonton Lanes, on Myrtle Ave, in Boonton, has hosted a homeschool bowling league in the Fall & Spring for a number of years. I assume it will continue in 2010-11. Often other bowling lanes follow a similar schedule.
Spring 2009:
10 week session, starting January 22 at 1pm.
Bowl 2 games each week, with free shoe rental, free pizza and soda.
At the end of the 10 weeks each child receives a trophy.
The fee is $7 per week. Call 973-335-0123 to sign up.
Fall 2008: The first day is Oct. 2nd at 1:00 and is FREE. Following that, there will be a 10 week session, at $7 per child, per day (pay as you go.) The fee includes 2 games, bowling shoe rental, pizza and soda. (Synthetic lanes were installed in 2007, don't know if they have A/C so it may be interesting on some summer days.)
Wannaque seems to also have a HS Bowling League... first Friday of every month.
I think that Chatham or Madison had a HS bowling league last year -- or at least a one day trial, I don't know if it lasted.
